FSE Students land roles with Cheltenham and Newent Town Football Clubs.

Forest Sports Education student Anthony Slattery has acquired a physiotherapist role at Newent Town Football Club. Since starting the course, Anthony has expressed an interest in becoming a sports therapist. Through FSE's links with Newent Town, we have been able to provide Anthony an opportunity to learn and develop some of the skills he will need to work as a physiotherapist.

In addition, former FSE student Mark Yearley has landed a role with Cheltneham Town football club. Mark studied at FSE for four years, studying the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and the Higher National Diploma in Sport. Whilst at FSE, Mark impressed in particular units such as sports coaching. This led to Mark obtaining a full time coaching position at the children's coaching company ProStars. Mark has worked hard to develop his coaching skills over the last few years. This hard work has now paid off as Mark has landed a scouting role with Cheltenham Town Football Club.

Well done to Anthony and Mark!
