Forest Sports Education
Where opportunitymeets potential

About the course

BSc Honours Degree in Sports Coaching

This is a three year programme, that is open to students who have completed their BTEC or A-level qualifications. It will provide you with more knowledge, skills and experience of the sports industry. As stated before, the course is split into three seperate years so that you are able to 'get off the train' at any point, whilst still gaining a recognised qualification. For the first two years, you will be taught entirely on site at Forest Sports Education by our expert tutors. For the final year, as well as being taught on site, you will also complete 4 residential weeks at Colchester Institute over the course of the year so that you can enhance your knowledge and skills further. Lessons take place in the morning which gives you the opportunity to gain potential paid work experience in the afternoon with a number of different partners we have!

Hands-on Experience

Students have the opportunity to partake in relevent work experience with ProStars sports coaching company and Forest Active Community Trust (F.A.C.T) charity organisation throughout their time here.
