FSE ARE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!

FSE win the GFA Inter College League

We are the champions! Yesterday, FSE recorded their second piece of silverware in two years as they claimed the GFA Inter College League, defeating Hartpury College 3 - 1. FSE started the match brilliantly, playing the best football they have all season. On twenty minutes, they were rewarded with a goal, as Jacob English struck a brilliant free kick in the bottom right hand corner. In the second half FSE were comfortable with Jordan Hale (GK) having very little to do. On 55 minutes, FSE doubled their lead through a fantastic strike on the half volley by Ethan Wilkins. Hartpury showed some resilance and fought back to half the deficit but FSE rallied again to finish off the game two minutes from time, with a composed finish from Jacob English. 

In truth, every player could have been awarded man of the match as this was the best we have played all season. However, the stand out performer was Andrew Beames who played out of position at right back and centre back when Scott Edmonds went off injured. Andrew was solid throughout and extremely composed on the ball when FSE were building attacks.
