On Friday 23rd November, FSE students had the opportunity to participate in an SAQ training session as part of their Fitness Training and Programming unit. For this unit, students are required to plan, deliver and evaluate a six week training programme. The students have chosen to focus on their speed and therefore the next six weeks will involve students delivering and participating in SAQ sessions.
Over the next few weeks, students will have an opportunity to participate in a number of speed training exercises including: parachute runs, resistance sprints, agility runs, acceretion sprints, hurdle exercises and ladder drills.
At FSE we believe that students should have the opportunity to gain as much experience as they can whilst learning. This particular unit will enable them to plan and deliver training programmes in future jobs.
